We have now added a new setting to all our Memory games that allows students to choose what type of feedback they want to receive when they find matching pairs.
How it works
During gameplay, students can open the Feedback dropdown menu at any time and choose between four different options:
- Visual feedback – cards get a green background with a white checkbox
- Audio feedback – a sound plays when a match is made
- Both visual and audio feedback
- No feedback at all
Regardless of which option is selected, the matching pair of cards will disappear from the game board after a short while.
Why is this good?
Different students have different needs and preferences. Some may be distracted by sounds, while others may have difficulty perceiving visual signals. By allowing students to choose for themselves – and change their choice at any time during the game – we create a more accessible and personalized gaming experience that suits more people.
When a student makes an active choice of feedback, the system will remember it throughout the student’s game session – across all memory games.
