Game instructions for sliding puzzle

Slide Puzzle - Artfully headaches! The pieces are to be pushed around over the board until the picture is complete. The pieces are numbered so that you will know in which order they should be.You can only move one piece at a time and you do it by clicking on it.When you want to move several pieces, you must click on one piece at a time. The number on each piece tells where in the puzzle it belongs. The piece marked 1 should be in the upper left corner of the slide puzzle. This is how the pieces should be arranged when the puzzle is solved:
1234
5678
9101112
131415

Hints to solve the sliding puzzle

Start with the first row so that it is correct. If the puzzle is larger than 9 pieces, you can continue with a second row. When there are two rows left to solve, you have to work with these rows simultaneously until the puzzle is complete. This picture illustrate the solving strategy:
1234«1
5678«2
9101112«3
131415

Calculation of knowledge points

Each completed game level gives 2 knowledge point in Sliding puzzle. The maximum number of points (24 knowledge points) is achieved when you pass all 12 levels. You'll get a bronze medal when you complete a level 2 times and a silver medal after 5 completed rounds. A gold medal will be received after 10 completed rounds. In Sliding puzzle, the maximum number of collectable gold medals is 12. You only earn knowledge points for levels that has not been cleared before. A cleared level has a green background above. Even when you have completed a level, you can continue practicing at that level, but it gives you no more knowledge points.

Look at the image in the open box and that is what should be at that location.

I am really and truly addicted to this! We had a puzzle similar to this at school and when I got home I just HAD to do some more! One problem with this. You can only see the picture for a nanosecond before you have to put them together. When I finished all of the ones with digits, I had to rely on the faint outline in the background. I would have preferred if you could memorize the pictures though. :) -Tara aged 11

Games are nice, but there are two things that irritate me - first of all, pictures are hideous. Seriously, I'm sure there are some pictures that can be adequate for this type of puzzle and look nice! Not some cockroaches or frogs or that picture in the puzzle 3x3. Ugh, it destroys the fun for me. And second thing - the only time that I could take a long look at the picture, was after I solved a puzzle. I had to play with digits, cause I didn't have a slightest clue, what the picture is supposed to look like... Normally, in this kind of games, You're allowed to stare at a picture for however long You wish, memorize it, and then You start the puzzle. Then You don't have to rely on digits, but Your own memory.
