Instructions for Countries in Spanish
This game focuses on learning the Spanish names for European countries, along with the key phrases used to ask and answer where someone is from: ¿De dónde eres? (Where are you from?) and Soy de… (I am from…). These are among the most essential phrases in Spanish conversation and appear early in most language courses.
The game covers countries including Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, the United Kingdom, and Luxembourg. Students practice both recognizing Spanish country names and producing them from memory, including correct use of accents and special characters.
This game is well suited for use at the start of a unit on countries and nationalities, as a revision tool, or as independent practice. It works equally well as a classroom activity or for self-study at home.
