Instructions for Tens in German: 10–100

This game helps students practice the German words for multiples of ten, from zehn (10) to hundert (100). Mastering these forms is an essential step in building number fluency in German, as they also form the basis for compound numbers like dreiundzwanzig (23) or siebenundachtzig (87).

The game includes a variety of activity types that progress from recognition to active recall and spelling. Students will encounter the numbers repeatedly in different formats, which supports retention through spaced repetition.

For classroom use, this game works well as an introduction to German numbers, as a warm-up activity, or as independent practice and review. Note that ß may be replaced with ss, and ü may be replaced with ue, so students without a German keyboard can still participate fully.
