This game covers Spanish words and phrases connected to a restaurant setting, including names for cutlery, glassware, tableware, and restaurant staff. 1. Find the Word, Part 1 (Memory)

MemoryMemory - The level consists of 10 pairs (each consisting of words paired with other words) and all of them are practiced in every game round. The student's task is to find two cards that match. If two matching cards are found, they are removed from the board. The game is finished when all 10 pairs of cards have been found and no cards are left on the board. There is no limit to the number of allowed misses, so the only thing that counts is finding all card pairs. There is no time limit. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button labeled Cancel - then it will show which pairs of cards match - and try to complete the level again.

2. Find the Word, Part 2 (Memory)

There is no time limit. When the student has selected all the correct answers, the game round is completed. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button labeled Cancel - then the correct answers will be displayed - and try to complete the level again.

4. Click the Right Spot (Image Markups)

Image MarkupsImage Markups - The level consists of 11 image markup questions, but a maximum of 10 image markup questions are practiced per game round. Each image question should be answered by selecting the correct marker in the image. Only one of the markers is correct. It is for you to find the right dot in the image. The student has 3 hearts (tries) for each question. The student has 3 hearts, giving them another chance at missed image markup questions during a game round. If the student answers a task incorrectly, the game round can be continued, but the round is marked as not completed. Questions have text-to-speech in Spanish. There is no time limit. When the student has found all the correct picture markings, the game round is completed. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button labeled Cancel - then all the correct dots in the image will be displayed - and try to complete the level again.

5. Spell It in Spanish (Unscramble the Words)

Put in OrderPut in Order - The level contains 10 questions and all of them are practiced in every game round. The player's task is to drag the pieces to their correct places in the order. The student has 3 hearts, giving them another chance at missed questions during a game round. There is no time limit. When the student has ordered all the pieces correctly, the round is completed. If it is too difficult, you can click the Give up button – then the correct order is shown – and the player can try to complete the level again.

6. Spell It in Spanish (Free Text)

Questions with Text AnswersQuestions with Text Answers - The level consists of 10 questions and all of them are practiced in every game round. The student must enter the correct answer without any hints and has 3 hearts (extra tries) to write the correct word or sentence in each question's text field. Answers are not case-sensitive. The student has 3 hearts, giving them another chance at missed questions during a game round. The student does not receive any feedback when writing the answer, which makes the task a bit more difficult. Questions have text-to-speech in English. There is no time limit. When the student has written all the answers correctly, the game round is completed. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button labeled Cancel - then the correct answers will be displayed - and try to complete the level again.

7. Fill in the Blanks (Cloze Test)

Cloze TestCloze Test - The level consists of 1 cloze text. In the game, the student is presented with 1 question texts where certain parts (words or numbers) are hidden. These words or numbers have been replaced by fields where the student must either fill in the correct word, or select the correct word from a list. Sometimes, there's a question mark ? after the blank - if the player clicks on it a hint will be shown. A cloze text usually requires the reader to understand the context of the text in order to fill in the blank with the correct word. It may therefore be necessary to read the text several times. The student has 3 hearts (tries) for each fill-in-the-blank. The student has 3 hearts, giving them another chance at missed cloze texts during a game round. The colze texts have text-to-speech in Spanish. There is no time limit. When the student has filled in all the blanks correctly, the game round is complete. If any blank is too difficult, the student can click the Cancel button - this shows all the correct answers to the gaps - and the player can try to complete the cloze text again.

Calculation of knowledge points and medals

Each completed game level in At a Restaurant in Spain gives 1 knowledge points. You can collect a maximum of 7 knowledge points by completing all 7 levels.
