Learn about Hindu deities, sacred concepts, and traditions. Practice fundamental knowledge of one of the world's oldest religions through questions about reincarnation, karma, and key gods.
Instructions for Hinduism
Hinduism is one of the world's oldest and largest religions with hundreds of millions of practitioners, primarily in India. Unlike many other religions, Hinduism has no single founder or central sacred text that all followers observe. Instead, it is a multifaceted tradition with many different deities, rituals, and philosophical concepts.
In this game, you will learn about Hinduism's central concepts and traditions. You will encounter important deities such as Ganesha with his elephant head, Vishnu with his blue skin, and Shiva with his female aspect Shakti. You will gain knowledge about fundamental concepts like karma (the consequences of one's actions), dharma (the rules that govern all living things), reincarnation (being born again), and moksha (liberation from the cycle of rebirth).
The game also introduces Hindu sacred places and festivals, such as the colorful Holi festival and the significance of the temple as a sacred building. By working through these questions, you will develop a foundational understanding of Hinduism's worldview and be able to compare it with other religions.
