Instructions for Parts of the Sewing Machine
In this game, students learn the names of the most important parts and accessories of a sewing machine. The exercises cover components such as the handwheel, presser foot, needle, bobbin, bobbin spindle, feed dogs, stitch plate, reverse feed button, speed controller, upper thread, lower thread, and thread holder — as well as how to read stitch width and stitch length settings on the machine.
The game is suitable for use before or after practical sewing lessons, as an introduction to machine sewing or as a review activity. It helps students build the vocabulary they need to follow instructions, ask questions, and work safely and independently at the sewing machine.
