Clear visual feedback in free text games

The student has 3 chances, as each heart gives an extra chance. In this picture, the student has used one heart because of the misspelling.

It is not really new functionality, but now it is much clearer how many chances the student has when a question has to be answered with free text. If the student has 4 chances, 3 hearts are displayed which disappear for each time the student spells incorrectly. If the student continues on a misspelling, it is also shown more clearly that it is misspelled and needs to be corrected by the background flashing for each additional incorrect button press.

This visual feedback is now available on all game levels of the type Questions with free text answers, provided that the game creator has chosen to limit the number of attempts at each question or to give feedback through green/red text as the answer is written or a combination of these.
