Flags for difficult game levels

When a student plays a game and lists all available game levels, there may be flags indicating a hard level. The flags are displayed so the student will get a greater understanding of why a certain game level is perceived as difficult. The following are the difficulty levels flagged at game levels:

  • 1 flag – Difficult level – Success rate of less than 40%.
  • 2 flags – Difficult level – Success rate of less than 20%.
  • 3 flags – Difficult level – Success rate of less than 10%.
  • 4 flags – Very difficult level – Success rate of less than 5%.
  • 5 flags – Extremely difficult level – Success rate of less than 1%.

The flags are based on statistics from a large number of rounds played by a large number of players, i.e. not only from the current student. The flags are therefore only displayed on games that are publicly available, and not displayed at all on games only visible to the game creator’s student groups.
