Practice Makes Perfect!! Here are games to help you to master some English vocabulary, synonyms and homophones. Keep trying until you get 100%. I know you can do it!
Synonyms are words that have the same or similar meaning, such as big and large.
Homophones are words that sound the same, but have different meanings or spellings, such as see and sea.
1. Homophones (Choose correct word)
Multiple choice - The level consists of 10 questions and all are practiced every game round. For each question, the player is given three possible answers. Only one of these is correct. It is up to the player to choose the correct alternative. The student has 3 hearts (extra lives) that keep the game round going. There is no time limit. When the student has selected all the correct answers, the game round is completed. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button named
Cancel - then the correct answers will be displayed - and then try to complete the level again.
2. Synonyms (Link up)
Link up - The level consists of 30 questions, but a maximum of 10 questions are practiced per game round. The player's task is to link the 10 questions in the colored boxes with the most appropriate answers in the white boxes. Each colored box can only be linked to one white box and vice versa. The student receives feedback on the links before submission and has 3 attempts to get all the links right. There is no time limit. When the student has linked all the boxes correctly, the game round is completed. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button named
Cancel - then the correct links are displayed - and then try to complete the level again.
3. Homophones (Link up)
Link up - The level consists of 50 questions, but a maximum of 10 questions are practiced per game round. The player's task is to link the 10 questions in the colored boxes with the most appropriate answers in the white boxes. Each colored box can only be linked to one white box and vice versa. The student receives feedback on the links before submission and has 3 attempts to get all the links right. There is no time limit. 4. Synonyms (Memory, 18 pairs)
Memory - The level consists of 30 pairs (consisting of words paired with other words), but a maximum of 18 pair are practiced per game round. The student's task is to find two cards that match. If two matching cards are found, they are removed from the board. The game is finished when all 18 pairs of cards have been found and the memory has no cards left. There is no time limit. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button named

Calculation of knowledge points
Each completed game level gives 1 knowledge point in Synonyms & Homophones. The maximum number of points (5 knowledge points) is achieved when you pass all 5 levels. You'll get a bronze medal when you complete a level 2 times and a silver medal after 5 completed rounds. A gold medal will be received after 10 completed rounds. In Synonyms & Homophones, the maximum number of collectable gold medals is 5. You only earn knowledge points for levels that has not been cleared before. A cleared level has a green background above. Even when you have completed a level, you can continue practicing at that level, but it gives you no more knowledge points.
