Vocabulary words - frequently missed

1. Link up vocabulary words

Link up - The level consists of 10 questions and all are practiced every game round. The player's task is to link the 10 questions in the colored boxes with the most appropriate answers in the white boxes. Each colored box can only be linked to one white box and vice versa. The student receives feedback on the links before submission and has 3 attempts to get all the links right. There is no time limit. When the student has linked all the boxes correctly, the game round is completed. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button named Cancel - then the correct links are displayed - and then try to complete the level again.

2. Vocabs memory (2 mins)

Memory - The level consists of 10 pairs (consisting of words paired with other words) and all are practiced every game round. The student's task is to find two cards that match. If two matching cards are found, they are removed from the board. The game is finished when all 10 pairs of cards have been found and the memory has no cards left. The time limit to complete the game level is 2 minutes (120 seconds). If it is too difficult, the player can click the button named Cancel - then it will show which pairs of cards match - and then try to complete the level again.

3. Find the vocabulary words (Word search)

Letter grid - The level consists of 9 words and all are practiced every game round. The player is shown a board consisting of letters in a grid and must drag the mouse pointer or finger over the letters until a word is found. The words to be found are placed on the board as one line words and they are listed in plain text next to the board. If the student manages to find all the words, the game is won. The time limit to complete the game level is 35 seconds (35 seconds). If it is too difficult, the player can click the button named Cancel - then the correct words will be displayed - and then try to complete the level again.

4. Vocabs mastermind

Mastermind - The level consists of 9 words, but a maximum of 1 word are practiced per game round. The student's goal is to solve the code word in a maximum of 6 guesses. For each guess, the student learns if the letter is part of the word (yellow), if it is also in the correct place (green) or if it is not part of the word at all (gray). The words the player guesses do not have to be words that exist in any dictionary. If the player manages to solve the word code and finds the hidden word within the 6 guesses, the game round is won. There is no time limit. If it is too difficult, the player can click the button named Cancel - then the correct word will be displayed - and then try to complete the level again.
