Send messages

Now you can send messages to your students or children. Your students can also send messages to you. Students can not send messages to each other. All communication is between you as a teacher / parent and your students. You can find the message function here:

Notification online

When you as a logged in user gets a message, it will be announced with a brick at the menu at the top of the screen. This is what it looks like:
Notification bricks
The number within the brick tells you how many unread messages you have. In the above image, the user has two unread messages. The brick disappears when you read the incoming message.

Notification by mail

When you receive a message from any of your students, you will automatically receive an e-mail to your e-mail address to notify you of the new message. This happens only once when you do not have any unread messages. If you already have unread messages, you must first read all the messages before you can get alerts via e-mail. If you don’t appreciate this kind of alerts via e-mail, you can inform us about this on your details page. Attention! Students don’t receive notification by email – they need to log in to Helpfulgames to discover the bricks as described above.

We would love to hear your thoughts about this new functionality!
