Transfer student or offer access to another teacher

If you want to transfer the ownership of a student’s account to another teacher, follow these steps:

  1. Log in as the student’s teachers.
  2. Click the Students button.
  3. Click the name of the group the student belongs to.
  4. Click the name of the student you want to transfer in the list of students.
  5. Click the Offer access… button next to the list of the student group memberships.
  6. A dialog box will now open where you can enter the email address of the teacher who should be offered ownership of the student’s account.
  7. Also choose if you want to transfer the student, ie remove the student from all your groups when the new teacher accept the invitation. Click the Continue button. The dialog box closes.
  8. The new teacher’s email address is now listed below the student’s group memberships. Click the Save button.
  9. The teacher will get an e-mail within 15 minutes to, with instruction on how to get access to and maybe also to take over the ownership of the student’s account.
  10. If you choose to transfer the student account, it won’t disappear from your groups until the new teacher has accepted your offer.
